With the importance of climbing expeditions deeply rooted in both personal and national pride, it has always been very important to move mail quickly between mountaineering expeditions and family and friends, expedition sponsors and the media. This presentation will take a look at the mail from the expeditions that set out to conquer Mt. Everest during the 1920s and 1930s from both the ground and the air.
